Kok (Kent) Chong is a first-generation student from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia who is double majoring in Finance and Supply Chain Management at Iowa State University. Kent has utilized Business Intelligence tools and Python during his internship across multiple industries like healthcare, consulting, and financial services. With the passion of helping others and telling stories through data, he knows that Data Science for the Public Good is the program to go to as it allows him to make a social impact while honing his technical skills. Communication, collaboration, R, and GIS application are some of the skills that he looks forward to learning over the summer.
