Felix is a senior at Iowa State University, majoring in Data Science with an emphasis in Statistics. Originally from a small town in Puerto Rico, he moved to Iowa to pursue an education that would prepare him for the rapidly changing world ahead. Felix has a variety of experiences, including work as a research assistant with the Center of Statistics and Applications in Forensic Evidence, as well as experience with the Public Science Collaborative. These experiences have allowed Felix to practice programming skills, work in an applied statistical research environment and learn about the tangible effects of data science in the real world.
